The newest country music festival launching in 2012 is set for July in Northern California.

Taking place July 20-22 at the Shasta District Fairgrounds in Anderson, Calif., the the Jukebox Music Festival’s inaugural lineup includes Kellie Pickler, Joe Nichols, Ricky Skaggs, Pam Tillis, Mark Chesnutt, Daryl Singletary and Asleep At The Wheel, according to The Record Searchlight newspaper.

Described as a “world class festival” on the event’s work-in-progress website, Jukebox will feature camping as well as approximately 100 vendors.

Promoter Allan Falino told The Record Searchlight that the festival will help raise money for the annual Shasta District Fair that lost funding from the state this year.

“I’ve always wanted to have a signature country music festival for the area that we could do year after year, because it pulls in a lot of people,” Falino told the newspaper. “It just really is a boost to the economy. People plan their vacations around it.”

Shasta District Fair CEO Chris Workman said the festival would bring $15,000 to $20,000 to the fair, approximately 10 percent of what state legislators cut from the fair’s budget.

Pre-sale tickets are currently available for $99 via local outlets and are expected to rise about $30 in price Feb. 1. Visit JukeboxMusicFestival.com for more info.
