“Year 15 is a proud milestone for the festival, so we wanted to deliver a legendary, eclectic lineup for the Doheny fans,” Omega Events’ Rich Sherman said. “Gregg Allman rarely performs on the West Coast, and Steve Miller’s influence on blues-rock music cannot be understated. Plus, both Allman and Miller have recorded blues albums this year … so the timing is perfect. This is our way of saying thanks to the loyal supporters of our independent festival.”

This will be the first year the Doheny Blues Festival utilizes the EventBand System, a smart wristband that serves as your ticket as well as your digital wallet. Delivered in advance, you can pack the wristband with value when you purchase it and use it to purchase food and drinks at the festival.

“We’re proud to be one of the first music festivals in North America to utilize RFID wristband technology for both admissions and concession,” Sherman said. “This technology advance is an added benefit for fans … just order your tickets online and leave your wallet at home.”
