It’s All Garbage

12:01 PM Monday 1/30/12 |   |

The band fronted by Shirley Manson gets busy this spring with the release of its first album since 2005.

Yes, it’s been seven since Garbage released Bleed Like Me. Now the band has a new album coming out as well as tour dates to support it.

Not Your Kind Of People will be released on Garbage’s own StunVolume label May 15. Although the band is promising shows and festival gigs in Europe and the U.S., only dates on the other side of the pond were released today.

The Garbage routing has the band playing London’s Troxy May 9 plus two dates in Russia – St. Petersburg at Jubilieniy Small Arena May 11 and Moscow’s Crocus City May 12 – before heading to Paris for a show at Olympia May 16.

Festivals make up Garbage’s June plans. The schedule shows the band playing Sweden’s Hultsfred June 16; Northside in Aarhus, Denmark, June 17; Southside in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany, June 22; Hurricane in Sheessel, Germany, June 23 and Belgium’s Rock Werchter June 28.

Expect more dates to be announced. Visit Garbage.com for more info.
