@bigsled: I wouldn't lump U2 and Madonna together regarding ticket prices. At least U2 has always tried to maintain the GA floor tickets at a reasonable price ($50) for their fanclub fans.

Regarding Madonna's ticket prices, accessibility to fans aside, if people are willing to pay $400/ticket, I'd rather see that money go to the artist and her management/promoters than to scalpers who are simply exploiting a flawed and unfair ticketing system.

Well bigsled I agree with you in general and most of the time I would agree with what you are saying about the country artists. But Chesney's prices on the Brothers of the Sun  tour= = US $25.50 - US $254.00

    US $25.50 Ticket + US $14.20 Fees =

    US $39.70 US $254.00 Ticket + US $31.10 Fees =

    US $285.10

The wife and I always wanted to see her and she hasent been to mpls. mn for 25 years but come on, 355.00 a ticket + 25. 00 ticketmaster charge ? LOL !!

Yea , I know, I can sit in the  last 3 rows  of the nose   bleeds for 40.00 but i'll wait for a dvd .

Sad artist like her and Bono charge so much..

The promoters : So Madonna your concert is  hot we can charge almost 400 a ticket do you want to do that to your fans ? Madonna : I dont care about my fans...

Country artists like Cheny Chesney sell out everywhere too and could easily charge at least 125.00 for the good seats but they say " no " .

Madonna and Bono you should be ashamed of yourselves !

"they are using inappropriate references online"

If Pollstar is going to start deleting and censoring people for inappropriate references online, they will be awfully busy,

Boycott Madonna’s Tour Don’t Go.  It’s time for concert goers to just say no and not buy these high priced tickets.  $380 for floor and most of the lower arena seats.  Plus, hundreds and thousands of dollars for the VIP packages.  Madonna, you are not worth it even if you included a BJ as part of the ticket.
