Calgary, Alberta’s Sled Island Festival will feature a local singer-songwriter you might have heard of. In addition to Feist, this year’s headliners include The Hold Steady and Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore.
The sixth annual Sled Island takes place June 20-23 at more than 30 venues throughout Calgary. Described as Western Canada’s largest independent music and arts festival, the event will host more than 200 bands and 100 artists.
The full lineup will be revealed in May. For now, eight initial headliners have been announced.

Feist and Timber Timbre will perform Friday night, June 22 at Olympic Plaza. The all-ages main outdoor stage will feature a full day of events Saturday, June 23 including sets from The Hold Steady and Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks.
Archers of Loaf, Andrew W.K. and Grimes will also play Sled Island.

Four-day festival passes are on sale now, priced at CAD $179 (USD $181.56). After March 31 the price will go up.
Fans can also purchase single-day tickets to the Olympic Plaza outdoor events. Tickets, priced at CAD $45 (USD $45.64), go on sale this Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. MST.
