Newport Jazz Festival Reveals 2012 Lineup

There’s plenty to please the jazz fan in everyone as Newport Jazz Festival releases its daily lineups listing Pat Metheny, Kurt Elling, Jack DeJohnette and Dianne Reeves among the artists descending on the Rhode Island town this summer.

The logistics are the same with this year’s Newport Jazz launching at the International Tennis Hall Of Fame at the Newport Casino Friday night, Aug. 3 then moving to Fort Adams State Park for Aug. 4 & 5.

Although Newport Jazz founder George Wein hasn’t yet named the acts appearing at the Int’l Tennis Hall Of Fame, the list for the weekend at Fort Adams is pretty extensive.
