No Rolling Stones Tour In 2012?

10:01 AM Wednesday 3/14/12 |   |

Apparently the band is eyeing 2013 for its 50th anniversary tour, but what’s a year between Mick and the fans?

Citing separate interviews with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Rolling Stone reports the band isn’t prepared to tour this year.

“Basically, we’re just not ready,” Richards said. As to a 2013 tour, the guitarist told the magazine “that’s more realistic.”

Rolling Stone also quoted “Stones insiders” as saying one of the reasons the band isn’t touring this year is because of Richards’ health. The article also cites a “top concert-business source” suggesting the band might go for “camping out” in major cities in 2013 for multi-night runs instead of doing any extensive traveling.
