Britney On “X Factor?”

03:01 PM Wednesday 3/14/12 | |

There have been plenty of rumors during the past few days claiming Simon Cowell is on the verge of signing Britney Spears to be a judge on “X Factor.”

Lately Cowell has been teasing “X Factor” fans that he’s about to add two new names to the show – a singer and a famous actress – according to Huffington Post.
But as to Britney filling one of the seats left vacant by first season judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul? Cowell isn’t saying “yes,” but the acerbic media star isn’t saying “no” either.

“You’ll have to wait and see … I can’t confirm or deny anything right now. The truth is, we are talking to a number of people. It changes on a daily basis, to be honest with you.”

One possible barrier could be the alleged fee Britney is demanding for judging wannabe stars on the program. While many entertainment blogs put Britney’s price at $10 million, as of March 10 Hollywood gossip blog Crazy Days And Nights said the singer had upped her price to $20 million.

What do you think? Should Britney become a judge on X Factor?
