Loads Of North American Festival Updates From San Francisco To Gulf Shores, Ala.

The full lineup has been announced for WE Fest; dates have been set for Outside Lands; and more acts have been added to Bonnaroo, Hangout Music Fest, BamaJam and Osheaga.

WE Fest

Last July WE Fest announced that Alabama would play the festival’s 30th anniversary, after previously rocking the festival’s very first event as well as the 10th and 20th anniversaries. The full daily lineup has recently been confirmed. 

The country music festival is set for Aug. 2-4 in Detroit Lakes, Minn., at the Soo Pass Ranch.

Aug. 2’s lineup includes Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, John Anderson, Colt Ford and Rocket Club. Toby Keith takes the stage Aug. 3 along with Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, Brantley Gilbert, The Dirt Drifters and Hitchville.

Alabama shares Aug. 4’s daily lineup with Eric Church, Sawyer Brown, Little Big Town and The JaneDear Girls.

Although reserved lawn seats and reserved seats have sold out, three-day general admission tickets are still available for $109. A limited number of VIP box seats, priced between $500 to $1,000, are also for sale.

Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival

The dates have been nailed down for the 5th annual Outside Lands. Mark your calendar for Aug. 10-12 at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

A limited quantity of Eager Beaver three-day tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 16 at 12 p.m. PDT priced at $165.

The 2012 lineup has not yet been announced. Looking back on 2011, last year’s festival featured Muse, Phish, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, deadmau5, The Shins, MGMT, Girl Talk, The Decemberists, John Fogerty and Erykah Badu.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

Bonnaroo just found room for a few more acts on its 700-acre farm.

The six acts announced this week are Puscifer; Santigold; The Temper Trap; Fun.; The Cave Singers; and Danzig Legacy – featuring music by Danzig, Samhain and Danzig/Doyle performing The Misfits.

Held June 7-10 in Manchester, Tenn., the 2012 fest boasts more than 150 musicians including Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, The Beach Boys, Bon Iver, The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Foster The People, Skrillex, Aziz Ansari, Feist, The Roots and Alice Cooper.

Four-day general admission tickets are on sale for $259.50. VIP packages are also available.

Hangout Music Fest

Hangout also has six new acts for you. The 2012 roster now includes Kaskade, Umphrey’s McGee, Delta Spirit, Heartless Bastards, Greyboy Allstars and Givers.

Hangout Music Fest takes place May 18-20 in Gulf Shores, Ala., at the Gulf Shores Public Beach.

The extensive lineup features Dave Matthews Band, Jack White and The Red Hot Chili Peppers as headliners, along with The String Cheese Incident, Wilco, Skrillex, The Flaming Lips, Dispatch, Steve Winwood, Chris Cornell, STS9, Gogol Bordello and many more.

All of Hangout’s general admission tickets sold out in less than two weeks after going on sale. A limited number of VIP, Super VIP and Big Kahuna passes are available starting at $849.

Alan Jackson is the latest act booked for this year’s BamaJam.  

The festival is scheduled June 14-16 in Enterprise, Ala., at Bamajam Farms. Previously announced performers include Tim McGraw and Eric Church June 14, Zac Brown Band June 15, and Kid Rock June 16. Jackson joins June 15’s daily lineup.

Osheaga Music And Arts Festival

Earlier in the month Osheaga Festival alerted fans that a lineup that had supposedly leaked online was a fake. The folks at Osheaga tweeted this week that the first confirmed headliner is The Black Keys. So far, the only other act that’s been announced is Young The Giant.
