More Jack White Solo Shows

01:01 PM Monday 3/19/12 |   |

Jack White has announced additional solo headline dates in the U.S. and Canada in May, as well as new European gigs in June and July.

The new shows go along with his debut solo album, Blunderbuss, due out April 23 on his own Third Man Records label. The album is available for digital pre-order on iTunes in Europe. U.S. fans can put in their pre-orders as of 12:01 a.m. ET March 20. All pre-orders will immediately receive the single “Sixteen Saltines.” The tune can also be pre-ordered as a 7” vinyl single, that comes with a non-LP B-side of White’s cover of U2’s “Love is Blindness.”

White’s May itinerary begins with two shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium May 15-16. After playing Asheville, N.C., at The Orange Peel May 19, he heads to the Big Apple for two nights at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom May 21-22.

Additional U.S. dates include Detroit’s Scottish Rite Theatre May 24; Eugene, Ore., at the Silva Concert Hall May 28 and Los Angeles’ The Wiltern May 30-31. White has also booked one Canadian gig – May 27 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Upcoming U.S. festival appearances are booked at Hangout Music Fest and Sasquatch! Music Festival. Hangout Beach Fest, which takes place May 18-20 at Gulf Shores Public Beach, hasn’t revealed its daily lineup yet. We can tell you that White will take the stage at Sasqatch! Music Festival May 26 in Quincy, Wash., at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

The new European dates include London (June 22); Amsterdam, Netherlands (June 25); Berlin (June 26); Cologne, Germany (June 27); Paris (July 2) and Hamburg, Germany (July 5). White stops by Werchter, Belgium, June 29 to play the Rock Werchter Festival

A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to Vault club members beginning March 21 at 9 a.m. local time. If there are any European tickets left over from the pre-sale, those tickets will be available to the general public starting at 1 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public March 23 at 1 p.m. ET for the U.S. dates and 9 a.m. local time in Europe.
