Aerosmith Tour Announcement Soon?

As fans wait for specifics on Aerosmith’s 2012 tour, Steven Tyler sends a brief heads up to fans that “something big” is about to happen next week.

Although rumors circulated during the past few days that the band would announce its upcoming tour before the week’s end, as of Friday morning not a peep was heard from the Aerosmith Camp.

That changed today when frontman / “American Idol” judge Tyler sent a caps-locked tweet about his plans for next week.

“OK… NXT WEDNESDAY (((HUMP DAY)))…SEE U AT THE GROVE LA??? … SUMTHIN BIG GOING DOWN!!!...MEET ME AT THE FOUNTAIN…1130???”

Guess we’ll have to wait until next week. In the meantime we can gaze in anticipation at the few dates that have already emerged, such as July 10 in Laval, Quebec, at “Mondial Loto” and July 14 in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, at the “Exploits Valley Salmon Festival.” Stay tuned.
