Rock Of Vegas 2012 Lineup Announced

01:01 PM Wednesday 4/4/12 |   |

Fremont Street Experience will ring in its fourth summer concert series in historic downtown Las Vegas with performances from Vince Neil, Warrant, Skid Row and Bret Michaels. Oh yeah, did we mention that the shows are free?

“This year Rock of Vegas will bring the classic rock hits of the ‘80s to life with plenty of power ballads and guitar shredding,” said Jeff Victor, president of Fremont Street Experience. “Downtown Vegas is a fun place to see a concert and offers one of the best values in Las Vegas. All the concerts and stage shows are free, plus downtown hotel-casinos offer great deals on room rates, gambling and many food and drink specials.”

The Freemont Street Experience is a five-block entertainment complex that encompasses 10 casinos, more than 60 restaurants and plenty of specialty retail kiosks.

Rock of Vegas starts rocking May 26 when Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil takes the stage. Former Styx frontman Dennis DeYoung will play tunes from his old band June 9. Night Ranger takes over June 22, Asia featuring John Payne performs July 7, Warrant & Skid Row rock July 21, and Bret Michaels does his thing Aug. 4.

The series concludes Sept. 1 with Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider joined by special guest Jac&Jill. Aug. 18’s lineup is yet to be announced.
