Video: Tupac At Coachella

11:01 AM Monday 4/16/12 |   |

You never know what to expect at Coachella. Like Tupac Shakur performing on stage Sunday more than 15 years after his death.

You gotta admit Tupac looks pretty good striding back and forth upon the Coachella stage. Not bad for someone who died in Las Vegas from multiple gunshot wounds 16 years ago this September. Tupac’s Coachella resurrection came in the form of a hologram.

While saying the Tupac hologram was Dr. Dre’s idea from the beginning, Nick Smith, president of AV Concepts told MTV he wasn’t able to talk about details, or, for that matter, whether all vocals were Shakur’s, but he did say that his company can recreate long-dead figures. So we may be seeing more dead artists coming back to life in the near future.

Meanwhile, you can see Tupac perform with Snoop Dogg. Isn’t science wonderful?
