MixTape Fest: The Fray, Kelly Clarkson & NKOTBSB

If you’re tired of festival lineups filled with pretentious indie bands you’ve never heard of, MixTape Fest just might be the event for you. This festival is for mainstream pop music fans, featuring headliners New Kids On The Block, Kelly Clarkson and The Fray.

MixTape Fest is set for Aug. 17-18 with two stages at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa. Clarkson, The Fray and New Kids On The Block perform Friday, Aug. 17 along with DJ Pauly D of “Jersey Shore” fame and Steel Panther.

New Kids On The Block will also take the stage with the Backstreet Boys Aug. 18 as NKOTBSB, marking the boy band supergroup’s only joint North American performance of the year. Saturday’s lineup also includes LL Cool J featuring Z -trip, in addition to The Wanted and The Dan Band.

Along with all of those pop tunes, MixTape Fest will have exclusive fan events, interactive exhibits, food trucks, celebrity and special guest appearances and a spa oasis. The fest has partnered with event promoter Shecky’s Media to host “Shecky’s Girls Night Out on Tour” with makeovers, manicures and shopping.

Once the music wraps up for the night, then it’s time for after parties attended and hosted by MixTape talent. DJ Pauly D will be in charge of the turntables at Friday’s after party.

Presale tickets go on sale this week. A fan club presale begins April 19 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, followed by the AMEX presale April 20 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Tickets go on sale to the general public April 27 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

Ticket prices range from two-day early bird grandstand tickets for $99 to two-day super VIP tickets at $750. The quoted prices don’t include service fees.

VIP perks include private preferred access and front of the line passes to all events/parties/activities and VIP section in front of both stages. VIP fans will get access to upgraded restroom facilities, baggage check, pampering areas, snacks and beverages, and more.
