Hard Summer 2012 Lineup Announced Featuring Skrillex, Miike Snow

The fifth edition of Hard Summer Festival returns to Los Angeles in August. This time around the event has expanded to two days, booking Skrillex, Bloc Party, Boys Noize and Miike Snow at the top of its lineup. 

The electronic music festival will once again take over Los Angeles State Historic Park Aug. 3-4.

Additional acts performing across Hard Summer’s four stages include Nero, Bloody Beetroots (DJ set), Squarepusher, A-Trak, Chromeo (DJ set), Magnetic Man, James Murphy (DJ set), Little Dragon, Erol Alkan, Datsik, Bootsy Collins & The Funk Unity Band, Fake Blood, 12th Planet, Dillon Francis, Zedd, Gesaffelstein, Brodinski, Claude VonStroke, Buraka Som Sistema, Breakbot, Araabmuzik, Justin Martin and more.

Tickets are on sale now. Two-day passes (for fans 18 and older) are $119 plus service fees. VIP two-day passes (for fans 21 and over) are $250 plus service fees.  

Fans won’t want to wait too long before buying tickets. Last year’s festival sold every single one of its 30,000 tickets, according to the Los Angeles TimesPop & Hiss blog. Hard Summer founder Gary Richards told the blog that ticket sales are between five and 10 times greater this year compared to the same point in 2011.
