Veteran moe.down fans will feel at home this year when the festival returns to Turin, N.Y.

Day 2 of the Bear Creek Music & Art Festival, Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park, Live Oak, Fla.
    November 13, 2010

There’s also a time-shift in the moe.down plans. Usually scheduled for Labor Day weekend, this year’s festival planned for Turin’s Snow Ridge will take place Aug. 10-12 and marks the first time the moe.extravaganza has played the locale since 2009.

Who’s on the moe.lineup? Try Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, North Mississippi Allstars Duo, The Wood Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee, Galactic, Marco Benevento, Kyle Hollingsworth and Soja.

Also appearing will be the revolving cast of The Everyone Orchestra featuring founder/conductor Matt Butler, guitarist Steve Kimock, Andy Hess on bass and drummer Jeff Sipe.

Keeping up with moe.down’s rep for introducing new bands, this year’s festival will also include performances by Bright Light Social Hour, JC Brooks & The Uptown Sound, Infantree, Leroy Justice and more.

Of course, you’ll get plenty of moe. at moe.down with the band playing six sets throughout the weekend.

If you were still hoping to snag some of those early-bird moe.down tickets priced at $100, you should have moved faster because those passes are gone. However, the festival’s website says you can grab “not-so-early bird tickets” priced at $120. Visit moedown.com for more information.
