The first weekend of 2013’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is scheduled April 12-14 in Indio, Calif., at the Empire Polo Club, followed by weekend No.2 April 19-21.
The lineup hasn’t been announced yet but that shouldn’t stop fans from buying advance passes. The advance sale begins May 17 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and runs through the following Thursday, May 24 at 10 p.m.
General admission passes are priced at $349. A number of additional ticket options are available including a GA/shuttle combo for $399, VIP passes for $799, car camping for $85, as well as tent camping, VIP parking, Lake Eldorado Teepee, shuttle passes and more. Travel packages are also available though Valley Music Travel. The 2013 prices include all fees.
An announcement on Coachella.com explains that the advance sale will be your only chance to take advantage of the festival’s purchase plan. Fans pay a minimum of 20 percent followed by seven additional monthly payments, which will be automatically deducted in the beginning of each month through January 2013.
The general onsale will be held early next year.
The 2012 edition of Coachella took place last month with the same lineup on both weekends. In addition to a hologram Tupac performing with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, the fest featured sets from Radiohead, The Black Keys, Pulp, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Arctic Monkeys, Bon Iver, The Shins, David Guetta, Kaskade, Miike Snow, Jeff Mangum and Feist.
