The 14th annual festival will once again be held on Halloween weekend at New Orleans City Park, Oct. 26-28.
Skrillex will be working his voodoo magic onstage, along with Justice, Tomahawk, Say Anything, Bootsy Collins, Gary Clark Jr., and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The full lineup of 150 acts will be announced in the next coming months.
“I believe this year’s lineup is developing into something really special,” Voodoo founder/producer Stephen Rehage said. “Green Day’s set in 2004 is one of the greatest performances in the festival’s 13-year history. Having them choose to do their only U.S. show of 2012 at Voodoo is pretty extraordinary. And the confirmation of Neil Young & Crazy Horse is epic. They are one of a handful of artists that you hope to have the privilege to work with at some point in your career. It’s what you dream of when you create something like Voodoo.”
This year, for the first time ever, the festival will offer on-site camping at City Park amongst 200-year-old oak trees, lagoons and waterways. Fans can choose between two options – Camp Site #1 or a VIP experience at the LOA Grand.
General admission camping passes for two at Camp Site #1 start at $150 and feature a 12X12 site to pitch your tent under the stars. Showers, food and beverage vendors, special activities, 24-hour security and medical services will be available.
The LOA Grand camping package will set you back $1,500. It comes with a 10X13 ready to go safari-style tent, two cots, bedding and pillows along with complimentary breakfast and snacks as well as access to backstage areas, stages, the Artist Bar, the LOA Lounge and more.
Tickets are on sale now. Three-day general admission tickets are $175. LOA Lounge VIP three-day passes are $500 and LOA Lounge passes with parking are $550. The quoted prices do not include additional service fees or taxes.
