Breaking News: Cheap Beer!

04:01 PM Thursday 5/17/12 |   |

Outdoor summer shows just got even more fun. Live Nation owned and operated amphitheaters across North America from the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C., will offer fans upgraded concessions and $4 domestic draft beer.

This summer’s upgrades include enhanced restaurant quality food. An announcement from Live Nation Entertainment promises you can expect tastier hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders, corn dogs and more.

Amphitheaters will once again offer value meals featuring a choice of a cheeseburger, hot dog or chicken tenders with fries and a soda for a discounted combination price. Look out for the return of the 32-oz souvenir fountain soda with a free refill.

The $4 12-oz domestic draft beers will be sold at most venues, with the exception of Houston and Toronto.

If you’re worried about even longer lines to go along with the new and improved F&B options, the good news is that Live Nation is increasing the number of concession service areas as well as increasing service in the VIP club and in-seat areas.

Live Nation is also jumping on board with the food truck trend. Select amphitheaters will feature local food trucks and local food vendors on-site serving local fare. Some venues are also being upgraded with enhanced video systems, sound systems and more.
