The Beach Boys’ 50th anniversary tour heads south of the equator in August as the famed Southern California group brings its signature harmonies to Australia.

For many fans the 50th anniversary outing is a chance to see Brian Wilson perform with his Surfin’ Safari comrades. Playing North America through mid-July, The Beach Boys’ European leg begins with Italy’s Rock In Roma festival July 26. The group arrives in Japan in mid-August for shows in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.

The Beach Boys’ Australian trek begins in Boondall at the Brisbane Entertainment Center Aug. 28. Other dates are Sydney at Allphones Arena Aug. 30, Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena Aug. 31, Hindmarsh at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Sept. 2 and Perth’s Burswood Dome Sept. 6.
