Dropkick Murphys Schedule More Halfway Dates

Dropkick Murphys have revealed more dates and locations for the band’s brief  “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” fall tour including Buffalo, N.Y; Pittsburgh and Detroit.     

As you can guess from the tour’s name, the shows take place in September, six months before the Irish-American punk-rockers’ favorite holiday in March.

Last week the band announced the fall outing would include a hometown show at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion Sept. 21 as well as its appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago.

Now that Riot Fest has revealed its daily lineup we can tell you Dropkick Murphys will take part in the riot Sept. 15 at Chicago’s Humboldt Park.

The rest of the “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” dates are booked Sept. 14 in Buffalo, N.Y., at Outer Harbor; Sept. 18 at The Fillmore Detroit; Sept. 19 at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE; and Sept. 20 in Utica, N.Y., at Saranac Brewery. 

Tickets for the Boston show as well as Riot Fest are on sale now. A fan presale for Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Utica, featuring reduced service fees, is going on now at Dropkick Murphys’ website through June 14. The general onsale for these shows begins June 15.
