Wisin & Yandel issue a statement blaming “unresolvable issues” regarding production would prevent the reggaeton duo from “producing the show they are accustomed to offering.”

A posting in Spanish and English on Wisin & Yandel’s official website apologized to fans for pulling out of the tour and wished Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez “the very best,” followed by teasing a headlining tour of their own.

From WisinYandelPR.com:

“It is with sadness and regret that we have decided to withdraw from the tour. Our sincerest apologies go out to our fans. We wish Jennifer and Enrique, as well as the tour, the very best. We promise to do our best to announce an upcoming U.S. tour in the very near future as we are eager to be out there performing for our fans as they are to see us.”

The Iglesias / Lopez tour begins with two nights in Montreal July 14-15. Other stops include Toronto (July 17-18), Newark, N.J., (July 20-21), Boston (July 25) and Uncasville, Conn. (July 26). For more information, click here for Enrique Iglesias’ website and here for Jennifer Lopez’s Web home.
