You can forget about seeing Miranda Lambert this weekend. Illness has forced the country songtress to cancel one appearance, postpone another.

Lambert was scheduled to play the “Jam In The Valley” in Varysburg, N.Y., tonight, but festival organizers announced that doctors had ordered the singer to get some rest. You can scratch that date from the books.

However, Live Nation issued an announcement saying Lambert’s July 7 show at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pa., has been postponed. So there’s still hope that the show will be rescheduled for a later date.

Lambert’s next scheduled appearance is July 12 in Orange Beach, Ala., at the Amphitheater At The Wharf. A venue representative told Pollstar that the show is still on track for next Thursday.
