So one of our favorite distractions, The Daily What, recently posted a version of the Bieb’s “Boyfriend” by a duo called Palter Ego. Turns out, no agency – or manager – is working with them.

That’s kind of unusual, although we got a kick out of when we ran an item on Rock Sugar and they got an agent out of it. So, hey, who knows? We’re a concert industry information source, so anything’s possible.

Here’s the video. The duo is composed of established jazz performers Jesse Palter and Sam Barsh. By the way, we just watched the original video – does Justin Bieber actually “drift” a car? Yes, yes he does. A man of the streets, he.

The act’s assistant Jamie tells us they are “definitely looking for booking agents and we’re open to the right management situation.”
