Nashville gets its first Southern Ground come Sept. 21-22 at the city’s Lawn at Riverfront Park. One month later Charleston, S.C. welcomes the return music/culinary extravaganza at Blackbaud Stadium Oct. 20-21.

Zac Brown Band & Friends will rule Nashville, performing nightly supersets with special guests such as Gregg Allman. Also appearing will be Amos Lee, David Gray, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Lumineers, Los Lonely Boys, John Driskell Hopkins & Brighter Shade, The James Arthur Band and Coy Bowles & The Fellowship.

The Charleston plan calls for Zac Brown Band performing nightly in addition to The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Los Lonely Boys. The Charleston lineup also includes The Charlie Daniels Band, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Wailers, Jerry Douglas, Los Lonely Boys, JJ Grey & Mofro, Clay Cook, Coy Bowles & the Fellowship, The James Arthur Band and John Driskell Hopkins & Balsam Range.

But wait, there’s more.

Both festivals will host the “Southern Ground Artists” that includes Blackberry Smoke, Nic Cowan, Dugas, Sonia Leigh, Levi Lowery, The Wheeler Boys and The Wood Brothers.

The Zac Brown Band curates everything from appetizers to openers, entrees to headliners, featuring the food world’s best chefs under the direction of Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin.
