Garth Brooks Added To ‘Teachers Rock’

Garth Brooks joins the lineup for the “Teachers Rock” benefit scheduled for Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre Aug. 14.

Featuring some of the biggest names in music and sports, artists previously announced for “Teachers Rock” include Josh Groban, Dierks Bentley and fun.

Presented by Walmart and “Won’t Back Down” and with proceeds benefitting Teach For America, Donors Choose and Feeding America’s Backpack Program, the event will also host appearances by Viola Davis from “Won’t Back Down” along with Miranda Cosgrove, Josh Hutcherson, Pauley Perrette, Roshon Fegan and more. CBS will air the event Aug. 18.
