Happy New Year, Gov’t Mule Fans!

01:01 PM Monday 8/13/12 | |

Gov’t Mule has confirmed it will once again bid farewell to the old year and welcome in the new by rocking out in New York City.

Marking the 11th anniversary of the group’s NYC New Year’s Eve performances, Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis and Jorgen Carlsson return to the Beacon Theatre Dec. 30 & Dec. 31. You can count on the Southern rock jam band continuing its tradition of playing three sets on New Year’s Eve.

Those aren’t the only new dates added to Gov’t Mule’s schedule. Before arriving in the Big Apple, the band has a two-night stand to do in Upper Darby, Pa., at the Tower Theatre Dec. 28-29.

A VIP presale for all four shows began today through CiderEntertainment.com. VIP tickets come with the best seats in the house, merch & MuleTracks downloads from the show(s) you attend, as well as other exclusive opportunities.

Tickets go on sale to the public Aug. 17.
