Gym Class Heroes Go A Clubbin’

Gym Class Heroes will give fans that up-close-and-personal experience when the band plays a series of nightclubs in October. But if you can’t wait for fall, you have three chances to catch the band this month when they play festivals on both coasts.

Honolulu, Los Angeles and Brooklyn are the August locales with Gym Class Heroes playing Hawaii’s state capital at the Republik Aug. 24, the H2O Music Festival in L.A. Aug. 25 and then flying across the country for the East Coast’s Afro-Punk Festival Aug. 26.

October is for clubs with stops including Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Toronto and Philadelphia.

Oct. 21 – Detroit, Mich., Magic Stick
Oct. 22 – Toronto, Ontario, Virgin Mobile Mod Club

Oct. 25 – Toronto, Ontario, Ottobar
Oct. 29 – Cambridge, Mass., Middle East Nightclub
Oct. 30 – Philadelphia, Pa., Union Transfer

The band is riding an Olympic wave of success with their latest single, “The Fighter [Feat.] Ryan Tedder)” which received plenty of exposure via the 2012 Olympics when NBC played it throughout its promo campaign.
