Keep The Party Going At ACL Fest & Riot Fest

The lineup is here for the official Austin City Limits Music Festival Late Night Shows as well as the roster for Chicago’s Riot Fest After-Parties. Acts include Alabama Shakes, Metric and Allen Stone in Austin, and NOFX and Alkaline Trio in Chicago.

Let’s first take a look at the ACL Late Night Shows, which take place in various venues around Austin, Texas, between Wednesday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 14. ACL Fest is held Oct. 12-14 at Austin’s Zilker Park.

The schedule at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q / Waller Creek Amphitheatre includes Alabama Shakes with Lee Fields & The Expressions Oct. 11, The Shins with Bombay Bicycle Club Oct. 12, and The Civil Wars with Milo Greene Oct. 13.

Metric performs with Polica and Half Moon Run at Emo’s East Oct. 12. The next night Emo’s East features Crystal Castles with Health and Kontravoid.

Over at Antone’s the schedule includes Allen Stone with Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds Oct. 12.

And that’s just the beginning. La Zona Rosa, Stubb’s Indoors, The Parish, Austin Music Hall, Lamberts, Wanderlust Live, Beauty Ballroom, The Belmont and Holy Mountain are also hosting late night shows. Additional acts include Thievery Corporation, Gary Clark Jr., The Afghan Whigs, Bassnectar, Delta Spirit and Kimbra.

A presale begins Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. CDT for folks on the C3 Concerts email list as of 9:59 CDT on Tuesday, Aug. 21. The public onsale begins Thursday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. CDT.

Now that you’ve got all that straight, let’s move on to Chicago’s Riot Fest After Parties. These shows take place Friday, Sept. 14 and Saturday, Sept. 15 at a handful of venues in Chicago. The Windy City edition of Riot Fest takes place Sept. 15 at the Congress Theater and Sept. 15-16 at Humboldt Park.

Here’s the plan for Friday: Alkaline Trio and Brendan Kelly at the Empty Bottle; Frank Turner at the Cobra Lounge; and Naked Raygun and Dan Vapid & The Cheats at the Subterranean.

Saturday features NOFX, The Adicts, The Casualties and The Dickies at the Congress Theater; and Fishbone at the Cobra Lounge.

Tickets went on sale today with a limited number of single-day tickets available. If you have already have a three-day pass to the Chicago Riot Fest, this will get you into all after-parties (subject to capacity).
