Counting Crows Back For More

02:01 PM Wednesday 9/5/12 |   |

Evidently the Counting Crows haven’t found a cure for that ol’ road fever. Announcing a fall run, Adam Duritz & Co., are looking at a journey beginning in New York and wrapping in Los Angeles.

With the Crows’ penchant for improvisation, the band’s fall tour will probably see a lot of return business from fans who caught them on their spring run or during the summer on the “Outlaw Road Show.” Having released their latest album, Underwater Sunshine, earlier this year, the Counting Crows have new music to play along with songs from their 20-plus years in the biz.

Opening in Port Chester, N.Y., at the Capitol Theatre, the Counting Crows’ fall adventure will take the band across the country with stops including Charlottesville, Va., New Orleans, Thackerville, Okla., Tucson, Ariz., and Los Angeles.

Oct. 23 – Port Chester, N.Y., The Capitol Theatre
Oct. 25 – New York City, N.Y., Roseland Ballroom
Oct. 26 – Huntington, N.Y., The Paramount
Oct. 28 – Charlottesville, Va., Ntelos Wireless Pavilion
Nov. 1 – Boca Raton, Fla., Mizner Park Amphitheatre
Nov. 4 – Orlando, Fla., Hard Rock Cafe / Hard Rock Live
Nov. 7 – New Orleans, La., Mahalia Jackson Theater For The Performing Arts
Nov. 9 – Thackerville, Okla., Winstar World Casino
Nov. 10 – Austin, Texas, Stubb’s Bar-B-Q / Waller Creek Amph.
Nov. 12 – Houston, Texas, Bayou Music Center
Nov. 14 – Albuquerque, N.M., Kiva Auditorium
Nov. 16 – Tucson, Ariz., Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheatre
