The result is a tour packed full of fine music and musicianship with each artist having new music to support. For Herring, a founding member of Aquarium Rescue Unit, Project Z and Jazz Is Dead, it’s his latest release, Subject To Change Without Notice, which dropped in August through Abstract Logix Records.
Then there’s Wooten’s two, that’s right, two releases. Words and Tones as well as his instrumental version of Sword & Stone will be released Sept. 25 on VIX records.
Travel-wise, the tour is playing mostly theaters on the East Coast and in Southern markets. With more dates to be announced, here’s the itinerary as it stands today:
