Mumford & Sons Announce Fall Plans

In addition to releasing its second studio album in the U.K. today, Mumford & Sons announced dates for the “U.K. & Ireland Tour Of Two Halves.” As the name suggests, the excursion is split up into two parts, beginning in November.

Babel is due out in the U.S. on Tuesday as the follow-up to 2009’s Sigh No More.

“At last. Here it is ladies and gents, and we’re well excited for you all to hear it,” the band wrote in a statement on its website. “Whether it’s what you expected, what you hoped or what you dreaded, or none of those things, we’re happy with it so here it is. We are proud, elated, and impatient to share it with you.”

One gig was also added in the U.S. – Nov. 10 in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl.
