Both festivals are on the horizon with the Austin City Limits Music Festival set for Oct. 12-14 at the city’s Zilker Park and Moogfest scheduled for Oct. 26-27 at various venues in Asheville, N.C.
But you don’t necessarily need a computer for online radio. Slacker is available for all major smartphones, the iPad, Sonos systems and even Ford vehicles via SYNC AppLink.
But if sitting at a keyboard is the only way you roll on the Internet, Slacker’s official festival channels are just mouse clicks away with the service’s Austin City Limits Music Festival station available at Slacker.com/ACL and Moogfest at Slacker.com/Moogfest.
Of course, Slacker’s ACL and Moogfest channels come with all the bells and whistles you’ve come to expect from the online music streamer, including the ability for listeners to customize their listening experiences by hearting or banning songs.
Along with plenty of music from acts on each festival’s lineup the individual channels will also offer artist interviews conducted by Slacker DJs.
And there is a lot to look forward to this year with ACL hosting a zillion acts including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Black Keys, Jack White and Florence & The Machine.
Moogfest is dripping with talent as well with a lineup that includes Primus (3D), Orbital, Nas, Miike Snow, Santigold and more.
