Richie Sambora Postponements

12:01 PM Wednesday 10/17/12 |   |

Vocal problems force the Bon Jovi guitarist to postpone a few upcoming shows. Off the schedule are Richie Sambora gigs in Philadelphia, Toronto and New York City.

Word from Live Nation is that doctors have ordered Sambora to “go on full vocal rest” after the axeman contracted laryngitis during his two-month promo tour of Europe that included a run of sold-out shows.

Sambora has been touring in support of his Aftermath Of The Lowdown album released in September.

Sambora was scheduled to play Philadelphia’s Electric Factory Oct. 18, Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall Oct. 20 and New York City at the Best Buy Theater Oct. 23.

Regarding the Toronto show, Live Nation indicated that it would be rescheduled for early 2013. At this time there is no word as to whether the Philadelphia and New York City gigs will be rescheduled.
