Vicente Fernández is forced to cancel a few dates after doctors found a small lump on his liver, Don Williams has postponed the rest of his 2012 dates due to a bronchial infection, and Lil Wayne is hospitalized for dehydration and a severe migraine.

Vicente Fernández Undergoing Medical Testing
The Mexican ranchera singer is canceling two shows scheduled Nov. 2-3 in Culiacan, Mexico, so he can undergo medical tests.

An announcement on Vicente Fernández’s website says that after a small lump was detected on his liver, he underwent a medical checkup on Tuesday. There is no diagnosis yet and additional medical tests are scheduled for next week. The singer promises that another announcement will be made after the results are released.

Fernández will still perform the three shows scheduled in Texas this weekend: Friday, Oct. 26 in Houston; Saturday, Oct. 27 in San Antonio; and Sunday, Oct. 28 in Dallas. With the exception of the Nov. 2-3 shows, he plans on completing the rest of his farewell tour after that.

Tickets for the shows in Culiacan, Mexico, will be reimbursed at the point of sale where purchased.

“I’m with my family and we hope that next week’s results are very good.Fernández said in a statement. “Thanks to all the people who love me and have prayed for me, their support gives me the strength to keep going.”

Don Williams Postpones Tour

An announcement on the website for the Alberta Bair Theater in Billings, Mont., says the Gentle Giant’s dates are being put on hold due to a bronchial infection. The statement adds that a “representative from Mr. Williams team says that a full recovery is expected, and apologizes to all his fans. Mr. Williams looks forward to resuming his tour very soon.”

Williams was scheduled to perform at the Billings venue Oct. 27. A rescheduled date will be announced in the next few days. Fans can either hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled date or request a refund.
