11:01 AM Thursday 11/1/12 |   |

As the East Coast struggles to recover from Hurricane Sandy, so many variables are in play regarding upcoming concerts scheduled for areas affected by the superstorm. While venue conditions obviously dictate many of the changes, other factors, such as transportation, lodging, power and plumbing, are considerations as well.

Tonight’s Meat Loaf concert at New York City’s Beacon Theatre has been postponed. Live Nation sez fans should hold on to their tickets because a new date will be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, Chris Isaak’s Nov. 2 show at The Beacon already has a reassignment. The new date is Nov. 11. And, yes, your Nov. 2 tickets will be honored on the new date.

You should also hang on to your tickets for Wisin Y Yandel at Madison Square Garden. Originally scheduled for Nov. 3, the concert has been moved to Jan. 18.

But you can forget about the Sonar On Tour stop at Roseland Ballroom scheduled for Nov. 2. The show featuring Die Antwoord, Azari & III, Seth Troxler, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tiga and Nic Fanciulli is canceled. Fans can obtain refunds at points of purchase.

The NYCB Theatre at Westbury, N.Y., has postponed shows through Sunday. The venue had Roger Hodgson scheduled for Nov. 2, Jay Black Nov.3 and Gary Allan Nov. 4. An email from Live Nation promised “further information to be announced” for all shows.
