Ben Folds Five On The West Coast

The wait is almost over for Ben Folds Five fans living in the Western states. The reunited band has announced shows in Colorado, Washington and California. The adventure continues when BF5 plays Denver in mid-January.

Back in April when Ben Folds Five revealed its United Kingdom itinerary, the word was that Ben Folds, Darren Jessee and Robert Sledge would play a full North American tour in the fall.

Well, almost.

Yes, the band did tour during September and October.  However, with the exception of a short string of dates in Texas, appearances were mostly limited to Midwest and East Coast markets.

Now fans on the West Coast can look forward to experiencing the BF5 reunion. Playing clubs and theatres, the band has booked six shows with all but two gigs in California.

Here’s the schedule:

Jan. 23 – Denver, Colo., Ogden Theatre
Jan. 26 – Los Angeles, Calif., The Wiltern
Jan. 27 – San Diego, Calif., House Of Blues
Jan. 29 – Anaheim, Calif., House Of Blues
Jan. 31 – San Francisco, Calif., Warfield Theatre
Feb. 4 – Seattle, Wash., Showbox At The Market

Expect more dates to be announced soon.
