Riot Fest Set For September

11:01 AM Tuesday 11/20/12 | |

Having found a new home in 2012, Chicago’s Riot Fest announces dates for next year. With early bird tickets on sale now, it’s never too early to begin planning that three-day weekend in the Windy City.

As with many festivals putting tickets on sale months and months before the play dates, Riot Fest hasn’t yet announced a lineup. However, the festival has staked out its turf, returning to Humboldt Park Sept. 13-15.

But there’s more to today’s Riot Fest announcement than three dates 10 months away. It’s bargain time as promoter/festival co-founder Mike Petryshyn delivers discounts for fans purchasing in advance.

At this time Riot Fest is selling three-day passes for $89 and three-day VIP packages for $189. Going the VIP route gives you access to an exclusive viewing area near the stage plus lounge with private bar privileges, including 15 beverage tickets. Offers are good through Christmas or while supplies last.

The folks behind Riot Fest say the festival played host to 60,000 people in 2012 that couldn’t resist the lure of live music, carnival rides, wrestling and great food. Visit RiotFest.org for more information.
