SXSW has revealed its next round acts of 2013 acts including Cold War Kids and Dawes, and Wanee Music Festival has announced details about its upcoming early bird ticket sale. Old Settler’s Music Festival has an initial lineup to talk about and its early bird tickets are on sale now.
South by Southwest’s latest piece of lineup news features dozens and dozens (and dozens!) of artists from around the globe. The Austin festival’s website warns that when you check out “the insane amount of talent” on its 2013 lineup, keep in mind that “it’s very exciting, but don’t forget to breathe!”
We want to ensure that our Pollstar.com readers keep breathing so we’ll just briefly highlight a portion of the acts. Along with Cold War Kids and Dawes, the new additions to the lineup include Ra Ra Riot, Ben Sollee, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Whigs, Wavves, Toro Y Moi and Third Eye Blind.

Now let’s talk about Florida’s annual Wanee Music Festival. Hosted by The Allman Brothers Band, the fest is set for April 18-20 at Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak.
And while the rest of 2013 roster hasn’t been released yet, Wanee organizers promise that the lineup “will be one of the most exciting yet!
