Buku Music + Art Project: Kid Cudi, Calvin Harris & More

04:01 PM Friday 12/7/12 |   |

The initial lineup has been revealed for 2013’s Buku Music + Art Project, which describes itself as “the premier progressive music and arts festival in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region.” Kid Cudi, Calvin Harris and Primus will be there in March.

After premiering in 2012, Buku will return for its second edition March 8-9 at New Orleans’ Mardi Gras World. Featuring a mix of EDM, hip hop and indie rock, Buku aims to provide an event for fans “tired of the mega-festival and wanting an intimate setting with close stage views and clear/loud audio.”

Along with all that loud music, the festival offers local food vendors, indigenous art exhibits and dozens of regional support acts performing between sets.
