New Kids, Goo Goo Dolls To Play ‘Live In The Vineyard’

01:01 PM Friday 2/1/13 |   |

Possibly California’s best known private event became even more buzzworthy today as “Live In The Vineyard” announces it will host New Kids On The Block and Goo Goo Dolls,

Taking place in the state’s famous wine-producing Napa Valley April 4-7, Live In The Vineyard features plenty of vino along with top-name acts performing in intimate surroundings.  For example, one of the highlights of last year’s LITV was fun. performing a special acoustic set in front of a small gathering of VIP guests in the barrel room of the Nickel & Nickel Winery.

Along with NKOTB and Goo Goo Dolls, this year’s Live In The Vineyard will feature performances by Youngblood Hawke, Vicci Martinez, Alpha Rev and Matt Hires, with more to be announced.

“The golden ticket in music is up-close access to recording artists, so unlike a big staged festival we ask the artists to get rid of all their production and strip down to the songwriting and what makes them special as artists,” Live In The Vineyard co-founder Claire Parr said.

“Everything about the LITV experience is intimate so you really feel like you have connected with the artists, chefs and winemakers.  I think that’s why we continue to attract more and more people each year,” co-founder Bobbii Jacobs said.

The Goo Goo Dolls will rock Napa’s Uptown Theatre April 6 and New Kids On The Block will play the Sutter Home Winery April 6 & 7.
