Bassnectar Targets Spring For Intimate Gigs

Having played to more than 220,000 fans in 2012, Bassnectar is downsizing for spring 2013 as the electronic musician/DJ lines up a short series of shows in smaller rooms as he goes for more intimate appearances.  Beginning in late-April, destinations include Boston, Providence, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.

You might say Lorin Ashton aka Bassnectar is striking while the proverbial iron is glowing.  Last year saw the release of his Vava Vooom LP as well as his Freestyle mixtape and EP that included collaborations with Lupe Fiasco, Angel Haze, Amp Live, Mimi Page and DC Breaks.

Announcing a brief run of East Coast locales, Bassnectar will be joined by Michal Menert, GriZ, Archnemesis and Up Until Now on select dates.  The tour beings just a few days after his twin weekend appearances at Coachella, April 12 & 19.
