A 15-Day Vampire Weekend

02:01 PM Monday 2/4/13 | |

Ezra Koenig and the band have more in mind than playing Austin’s SXSW and two weekends at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.  Like an April-May run with one-nighters in London, Paris and Canada as well as a few gigs in the good ol’ U.S.A.

Vampire Weekend will be in the middle of this brief road journey when the band’s third album – Modern Vampires Of The City – drops in early May.  Beginning the trek in Las Vegas, Vampire Weekend plays Coachella April 14 and 21.  Sandwiched in between are California’s U.C. Davis April 16 and Oakland April 17.

A few weeks following the second Coachella appearance, the band crosses the ond to play London and Paris before returning for a few North American shows.

Here’s the rundown:

March 16 – Austin, Texas, SXSW
April 12 – Las Vegas, Nev., The Chelsea At The Cosmopolitan
April 14 – Indio, Calif., Empire Polo Club (Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival)
April 16 – Davis, Calif., UC Davis Freeborn Hall
