Roger Waters Says Thanks For Pollstar Awards

11:01 AM Friday 2/15/13 | |

Roger Waters didn’t make it to the Pollstar Awards to accept his awards for “Most Creative Stage Production” and “Major Tour Of The Year” last week – but he did record a couple of awesome acceptance videos just for us.

“It’s really nice to be given an award that’s voted for by all our colleagues in this touring industry,” Waters said. “On behalf of everybody involved with ‘The Wall Tour’ I’d like to thank anybody who voted for us. It means a lot.”

The other nominees for “Most Creative Stage Production” were Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Madonna. Other “Major Tour of the Year” nominees were The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Coldplay, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney / Tim McGraw.
