Muse has more arenas to play in the U.S.  “The 2nd Law World Tour” is now set for Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Philly, D.C., Denver and SLC in September.

Touring in support of its 2012 album The 2nd Law, Muse is currently visiting North American venues on an outing that began in January.  The group plays two nights this week in Toronto followed by gigs in Boston and Uncasville, Conn., leading up to two nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden April 15-16.

Beginning in Charlotte, N.C., in early September, Muse’s tour plans move west of the Mississippi after the group travels to the southern hemisphere for Brazil’s Rock In Rio Sept. 14.

Here’s the new leg:

Sept. 3 – Charlotte, N.C., Time Warner Cable Arena
Sept. 4 – Duluth, Ga., The Arena At Gwinnett Center
Sept. 6 – Nashville, Tenn., Bridgestone Arena
Sept. 8 – Pittsburgh, Pa., Consol Energy Center
Sept. 9 – Philadelphia, Pa., Wells Fargo Center
Sept. 11 – Washington, D.C. Verizon Center
Sept. 17 – Denver, Colo., Pepsi Center
Sept. 19 – Salt Lake City, Utah, EnergySolutions Arena
