Outside Lands Announces Outside Shows

03:41 PM Tuesday 7/16/13 |   |

The music doesn’t stop when the headliners finish their encores at this summer’s Outside Lands in San Francisco.  There’s plenty of fun to be had at the festival’s night shows taking place at intimate venues throughout the city.

Set for Aug. 9-11 at Golden Gate Park, this year’s Outside Lands lineup includes Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails and Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.  Also appearing at this year’s festival combining music and culinary treats will be Pretty Lights, Phoenix, Kaskade, The National, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend and many more. Throughout the weekend festival goers can sample the area’s finest wines and brews, enjoy food from local restaurants and soak up the music from an almost endless list of top-flight artists.

Now Outside Lands has revealed its night shows which begin the evening before the festival starts and continue through Aug. 11. Among the acts doing night-show gigs are The Tallest Man On Earth, Zedd, Smith Westerns, Social Studies, Wampire, The Growlers, Houndmouth, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bombino and Milo Greene.
