With all the nasty winter weather covering much of the U.S. and Canada, this would be a perfect time to jet down to Costa Rica for sunshine, parties and the Jungle Jam music festival.
Happening Jan. 16-19 in the surfing destination known as Jaco, and featuring Don Carlos and Southern California’s Slightly Stoopid along with G. Love & Friends, Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, The Expendables, Dopapod, Kung Fu, Max Creek, Allman Brothers bassist Oteil Burbridge, Zach Deputy, Ryan Montbleau Band and others.
Jungle Jam is still beefing up its lineup, having added Ojo de Buey, Florian Droids, Thicker Than Thieves, Dastardly Bastards and Fusion Funk San Jose in recent days.
The music and camping festival is hosted by the DoceLunas Resort Hotel and includes performances at several locations in the area.
