Portugal. The Man’s Evil Gigs

03:01 PM Wednesday 1/15/14 | |

So, what will Portugal. The Man be up to in between playing Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Music Festival and taking the stage in Dover, Del., at the Firefly Music Festival? Good question – we can tell you exactly where they’ll be including Asheville, N.C.; Norfolk, Va.; and Nashville.

The psychedelic rockers are supporting their latest LP, Evil Friends. Released in June, the album is Portugal. The Man’s seventh full-length release and their first collaboration with producer Danger Mouse.

The band will spend the weekend launching its 2014 tour plans with appearances at Big Day Out in Auckland, New Zealand, Friday and Carrara, Australia, Sunday. Following additional Big Day Out dates, the guys will make their way to South America for Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago; Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogota, Colombia; and Lollapalooza Brazil in Sao Paulo.
