Pollstar Exclusive: Whiskey Myers’ New Video, ‘Early Morning Shakes’

Whiskey Myers unveils its video for the title track to its upcoming album landing in stores next month.  Feast your eyes on “Early Morning Shakes” then find out what lead singer Cody Cannon has to say about the song after the jump.

Bringing you stories of celebration, mourning, trials, tribulations and triumphs, Whiskey Myers hails from Tyer, Texas, and features Cannon on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Cody Tate and John Jeffers on rhythm and lead guitars / vocals, bassist Gary Brown and Jeff Hogg on drums.

What is the title track to Early Morning Shakes about?  Cody Cannon explains:

“’Early Morning Shakes’ is really just about life on the road, or at least the life we live on the road. For the most part, kind of when you drink a little too much and your hands start shaking. That happened to me. It just seemed like a colorful title. I don’t even really remember when I started writing the song. Probably had to be after a bad hangover or something, some sort of experience like that on the road. Yeah that was really it. Just a … it was about life on the road.”
