Your Next Weekend (Or Weeknight) With Vampire Weekend

05:01 PM Tuesday 3/11/14 |   |

Vampire Weekend has detailed what the band will be up to in early June leading up to the band’s appearance at Bonnaroo. As for now, the band is headed next to South America for sets at Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

The New York City-based indie rockers are continuing to support their third studio album, 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City. In January the LP was awarded a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.

Before the calendar flips to June the band has more festival appearances to take care of, including Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogota, Colombia, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and the Big Guava Music Festival in Tampa, Fla. Plus, there are headline gigs to do in Texas, Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

Here’s where you can find the band in June:

June 1 – Oklahoma City, Okla., Diamond Ballroom
June 2 – Kansas City, Mo., The Crossroads
June 4 – Milwaukee, Wis., Riverside Theatre
June 5 – Chicago, Ill., UIC Pavilion
June 6 – Rochester, Mich., Meadow Brook Music Festival
June 9 – Buffalo, N.Y., Outer Harbor
June 10 – Charlottesville, Va., Ntelos Wireless Pavilion
June 12 – Raleigh, N.C., Red Hat Amphitheatre

Bonnaroo, which is set for June 12-15 in Manchester, Tenn., hasn’t yet revealed its daily lineup. Neither has Governors Ball Music Festival, which will feature Vampire Weekend in NYC sometime between June 7-8.

Presales for select dates – including American Express, Live Nation Mobile App and venue/Live Nation presales – are scheduled Wednesday, March 12. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 14.
